Lunch & Learn with Ross Barefoot - Google My Business
Limited Capacity seats available

Yes, you have a business listing with Google, even if you don't realize it. Come learn how to find it, claim it, correct common problems with it, and prepare it to help grow your business in your local market.

We will also discuss some ways to put extra energy into your listing, making use of Google's relatively new "posts" feature. This is a powerful tool that Google is pushing and rewarding, but which the vast majority of small businesses aren't even aware of yet.
You will learn how to report spammers who are unfairly crowding your listing out of search results.

Intro to Conscious Capitalism 101 with Tyler Moebius
Join us for a FREE info night on Conscious Capitalism with Tyler Mobius.

"We believe that business is good because it creates value, it is ethical because it is based on voluntary exchange, it is noble because it can elevate our existence and it is heroic because it lifts people out of poverty and creates prosperity. Free enterprise capitalism is the most powerful system for social cooperation and human progress ever conceived. It is one of the most compelling ideas we humans have ever had. But we can aspire to even more.”
~ From the Conscious Capitalist Credo

Tyler is a 5 time entrepreneur and winner on the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. His last start-up grew to a 700 person company with 28 offices in 12 countries.
His passion lies in designing and developing innovative technology platforms that connect conscious brands with consciousness consumers across the IoT.

When his head is not in the digital ethos- his heart is grounded with his partner Oriana and 4 children on their small biodynamic farm at the base of Sopris on the Crystal River. Where, with the help of the Waldorf community, they are raising conscious global leaders, who wonder at beauty and stand guard over truth.

Lessons Learned From Taking a Product to Market

This is the “back story” of how Joel Sears developed the Rim Jibber, a wheel straightening tool for mountain bikes. Prior to developing the Rim Jibber, Joel was not intimately familiar with the engineering or manufacturing world. He knew what he wanted to develop, he just had to pick up a few skills before he could bring his idea to fruition. Joel, and his business partner, Chris Castle, will explain the key skills that were needed to master before bringing the product to market:
• Market Research
• 3D CAD Tools
• Stress Analysis Tools
• Material Sourcing
• Manufacturing Methods for Small Scale Production
• Product Marketing in the new “Direct to Consumer” world
• How to Take Customer Feedback to Develop the “2.0” of your first successful product

This will be an interactive presentation with plenty of opportunities to answer questions from the audience.

It is not required, but to help you get the most out of this event, we've provided this Ideation Worksheet. You can fill out this worksheet and bring it to the Bootcamp, which will enable mentors to easily give feedback on your idea.

Who should Attend?
Anyone who has an idea for a startup or an early-stage company.
Anyone who would like feedback on their idea or pitch.
Anyone that is interested in joining a new startup or looking for a co-founder.

Human Connection: Unlocking Potential Through Positive Systems
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

In our modern world, employees are drowning in increasing levels of stress, burnout, loneliness, and lifestyle-related chronic illness while organizations suffer from the effects of low employee engagement and high turnover. As a result, both humans and businesses are failing to reach their full potential. Business owners and leaders can mitigate these challenges, though, by leveraging the power of human connection through “positive systems.” Positive systems is a new field of research that shows that when we are connected to one another, striving to make each other better, we not only raise the success of the entire group, we exponentially increase our individual potential.

This talk will explore how business owners and leaders can develop and nurture positive systems within their organizations to improve workplace wellbeing, employee engagement, and organizational culture and transform their organizations from mediocre to extraordinary.

Learning Objectives
• Grasp a full understanding of the current state of employee health, wellbeing, and engagement in the US workforce and why it’s a problem we must solve.
• Learn about the body of research on the importance of human connection and positive systems, led by Dr. Shawn Achor.
• Understand how to apply the tactical strategies born out of this research to tap into human potential, foster workplace wellbeing, elevate organizational culture, and improve business outcomes.
